Our History
Founder Rick Dortch utilized secret shopper services as CEO of a $600 million drug store chain; he was frustrated by not being able to use the data from the individual shops effectively. He knew that there was an opportunity to vastly improve the usefulness of this critical data and as a result created his own mystery shopper company.
Customer Feedback was founded by Rick and Laurie Dortch in June 1995 as an answer to increased demand for quality mystery shopping services.
Our CEO, Richard Dortch, has over 26 years of leadership, operations, marketing, administrative and systems experience. As the former CEO and President of organizations ranging in size from $55 million to $600 million, he engaged mystery shopping services to enhance his companies’ performance and as a result gained insightful expertise in this industry.
Megan Dortch, our President, came to Customer Feedback with a background in retail management. Megan was attracted to the mystery shopping industry by her passion for excellent customer service.
Chief Technology Officer, Bob Carpenter, has over 25 years of experience in IT - both in management and hands-on development of key product initiatives at companies such as Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, General Motors, T-Mobile, and Nordstrom.
Keith Barnes, Controller, spent 16 years as the CFO of a $500 million bank. Following his banking career he has served twelve years as an independent financial consultant assisting small businesses with various areas of financial and tax planning, management and data processing.
